Specialized Sessions- 2023-2024

Class registration will be live below March 20th at noon.

Specialized session classes are an introductory dance class with a shorter commitment time than our 36 week session classes. Dancers will have a fabulous way to get acquainted with our dance academy and these specialized classes could be a great addition to their training. Classes tend to rotate by interest and we try and offer something new for all students.

Our 6 week sessions are offered in mid October, January and April.

Tuition Payment will be due at the first class.

Your dancer will love dancing through the glitter sky with our Fluttery Fun Fairy 3 week class! Tiny dancers will climb the sparkly rainbow’s and soar through the Colorful Clouds as magical fairies in this sweet ballet and tap dance class! This magical class is full of all things Fairies, dancing, glittery crafts and even Rainbow Rewards (aka fun prizes)! It’s sure to be a magical time!

Wednesdays 4:00-4:30 pm     Dance Pawty Fun        3-4 years         May 8, 15, and 22       3 weeks
Raise your paws if you love Paw Patrol and Secret Life of Pets because you’ll PAWSitively love this fun 3 week class! Tiny dancers will dance to songs about dog’s, cat’s,and character’s, (anything goes!) and together they’ll unleash so much fun!! This dance PAWty 3 week class will be a fun time FUR sure as your dancers learn new skills and steps!

Get ready to be pink with excitement as you jet set to Paris, boat to a beach bash, and hop on a taxi to NYC! At the end of this dreamy vacay you will dance the night away at a perfectly pink disco party with all of your besties. This is your passport to all things pink, fun and sparkly where every day is the best day ever. If you love Barbie, let’s go party together in this glitterific 6 week class  rhythm dance session.

Mondays 4:45-5:15 * New Class  Jumps and Turns ages 8-12
Begins 4/15/2024

Just like the title says: All things jumping and Turning. While jumping and turning does not make a great dancer ,a polished dancer knows the mechanics of Jumping and Turning. Come learn how to incorporate your turns and jumps into your dancing the SDA Way. Balance, Posture, and the correct way to leave and return to the floor will be explored in this 6 week session.

Tuesdays 4:45-5:15  *New Class: Ballet and Lyrical  ages 7-9
Begins 4/16/2024

Ballet is the foundation of dance; every dance form uses ballet positions and vocabulary. Ballet classes are progressive classes that move slowly to learn and develop proper technique. Ballet is not a supplement for any other dance forms, it is the substance. Technique, choreography, and terminology are taught at every level. Contemporary and Lyrical movement will be included in this 6 week session. Hair should be fastened away from the face.
