Miss Kristi Cook has had a passion for dance since she was a young girl. She found her passion the moment she took her first dance class at the age of 11. She knew she wanted to be a dancer, a teacher and a choreographer. Throughout the years, Miss Kristi has been blessed with the opportunity to teach and share the love of dance with others. Miss Kristi has been dancing for 20 years, and teaching for 14 years. This will be Miss Kristi’s 13th year as an instructor at SDA, and she is proud to call Spotlight Dance Academy her home. Miss K works with our Competitive Troupe dancers as an instructor and choreographer. She is an instructor for our Recreational Program as well as our Children’s program. She is the instructor and choreographer for SDA’s Hip Hop Crew “Fresh Coast Funks”, which began its inaugural season in 2015. Miss Kristi is trained in all dance disciplines and levels. Miss Sydne –

For 14 years Miss Sydne has trained in all dance styles and is now sharing her knowledge with us here at Spotlight Dance Academy. Her dance training began at 10 years of age right here at SDA. She received a BA in Dance Performance & Choreography from Hope College in Holland, MI and during her years at college she studied from Matt Farmer, Sharon Wong, Anne-Rene Petraca, Steven Innacone and more. Miss Sydne recently moved back from her time living in California pursuing her dream of becoming a professional dancer as well as living in Colorado enjoying the mountains.
